2 Major Things You Must Do To Turn Your Blog Into Money Making Machine - The Triage Principle of Successful Blogs

In one of the post of Steve Pavlina entitled Triage, he presented triage as a key principle of time management in which tasks, projects, and activities are divided into three groups such as: 1) Projects that will fail to have a significant impact whether you do them or not, 2) Projects that will succeed anyway whether you do them or not, and 3) Projects that will have a significant impact if you complete them in a timely manner.

Here, triage is extremely important to make the most of your time, efforts, talents and participation in order to produce the greatest possible impact.

In this principle, all you need is to be able to clearly identify your group 3 tasks and activities. Because when you do, you will be able to say no, not to spend time, efforts, talents and participation to the tasks and activities in group 1 and 2 until there is much to be done in group 3.

So, how do you apply the triage principle in order to have successful blogs? Allow me to rephrase the question into another form. How do you apply the triage principle in order to Turn Your Blog Into Money Making Machine?

You can start by listing all the tasks related to the creation, management and maintenance of a blog then group them into three. Group 1 are the list of tasks and activities when done don’t make any difference in the next two or three years. Group 2 are the list of tasks and activities that you can confidently delegate to others. Group 3 are the list of tasks and activities that when done in timely manner will Turn Your Blog Into Money Making Machine.

Your grouping may turn out different from that of the other person for each possesses different skills, goals, time availability and etc. to their blog.

Now, what do you think are the tasks that most likely will belong in group 3 if the goal is to turn your blog into money making machine? For me, I have a couple of tasks for group 3. First is to being able to deliver high quality content regularly and the second is to being able to do excellent blog promotion.

In a website, they commonly say content is the king and I say delivering high quality content regularly is the king of kings. But even delivering high quality content regularly can be useless if without blog traffic. So both the delivery of high quality content regularly and doing excellent blog promotion are the twin task that belong to my group 3 which I believe will turn this blog into my money making machine.
